This event is bigger and better than ever. There will be plenty of room for divers to park, set up and dive. Golf balls will be placed in the water, each one representing a fantastic prize. Grab thousands of dollars in exotic trips, local charters, drysuits, wetsuits, regulators, computers and more. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. and the dive begins at 9:00 a.m. Contestants must pick up their prizes at the Expo.

Our Treasure Hunt, was well attended last year. We had more than 190 participants and 50 volunteers diving in to Puget Sound at Owen Beach in Point Defiance Park.  The event was led and staffed by volunteers from local dive clubs and coordinated by the Washington Scuba Alliance. Congratulations and thanks to Mike and Roberta Nebel who headed the event. They did a fantastic job!

This year, we are moving the event to Sunday! We are excited to offer an opportunity to win some amazing prizes to all our attendees. We look forward to seeing you this year and Happy Diving!

“This year we have many changes. In order to accommodate the tides and improve safety, we moved the Treasure Hunt to Sunday at 9:00 am. We also are welcoming back last year's Treasure Hunt Coordinator, Mike Nebel of Roberta’s Custom Graphics in Tacoma. Mike is an experienced dive instructor with lots of enthusiasm and expertise in leading the Treasure Hunt. We are happy to have him on board and will do everything we can to make this year’s Treasure Hunt an awesome event for everyone”
