Dive News Network Internship
Dive News Network is a national magazine reaching over 288,000 readers a month. A magazine offered both in print and online expanding the scuba network across the globe reaching seasoned divers and inspiring a new generation of divers. Our internship is an opportunity for high school seniors and college students to learn both journalism while expanding Scuba Dive knowledge. We are looking for Interns who are seeking communication, marketing and journalism majors with exceptional writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, sharp analytical skills and factual interpretation of information, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office. We offer practical experience in the workplace with the opportunity to earn academic credit and work quantifiable experience. Interns gain valuable insight into future career paths through specific tasks with guidance, supervision and evaluation.

What we will give you

· Hands on experience with journalism, editing, writing, marketing, sales and supervision of other team members

What we expect from you
· Write press releases and articles for your school newspaper and local publications
· Keep activity logs for performance accountability
· Attend all training sessions
· Pass out fliers, posters and advertising to promote our mission and events
· Learn the power of social networking by creating and updating Facebook and Twitter accounts
· Recruit Interns from their school s to participate in our Internship Program
