Ultimate Diver Challenge – A Plus for Palm Beach County

  • PDF

The Ultimate Diver Challenge, a celebrated diver challenge reality show, is coming together this year to be held on July 21-31 in Palm Beach County Florida. Show creator Pam Bertram and local Executive Director of Tourism Roger Amidon are seeing the process hard at work and are pleased with the results.

“Pam has been speaking with sponsors and coordinating with the different agencies to make this show a reality for Palm County and we all appreciate it,” Amidon said. “She called me after attending the Beneath the Sea dive show and she was really excited about how many people are interested in either taking part of receiving more information.”

Pam Bertram created the Ultimate Diver Challenge five years ago. The event is one in which divers can see if they have what it takes to be the "best of the best" in scuba diving. On the show the divers compete, team against team, in challenges that are designed to test knowledge, buoyancy, navigation, safety, search, stress, and rescue skills through precision and accuracy.

Pam is working in coordination with the environmental resource managers, the Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Sports Commission in order to make this thing a success here in Palm County,” Amidon said. “I personally can’t wait.”
